Space Tower — Strategy Guide
Space Tower is a physics game where you catch items scrolling across the screen and stack them into a tower reaching the stars. This guide covers the basics, stardust farming, and stage-by-stage tips.
Basic Rules
Various items stream across the top of the screen one after another. When an item you want to stack appears, tap the screen. Catch it cleanly and it flashes, then lands on top of your tower.
Each item is a physics object with its own shape and weight—round ones, long ones, jagged ones. Thinking about where to place each piece for the best balance is the heart of the game. If your tower wobbles and items fall, the journey isn't over. Take a breath and keep stacking.
Combos & Stardust
Catching items in a row builds a combo and earns you stardust.
Stardust is the resource you spend on buying abilities, unlocking save slots, and using abilities. Think about your tower's shape as you chain catches together, and the stardust will add up.
Chain combos
Stacking the same item repeatedly is called a chain combo, and it pays out considerably more stardust than a normal combo.
Watching the parade of civilizations and creatures drift past, wondering which one will extend your chain — that is a good part of the game.
Shop Abilities
From the in-game shop you can learn powerful support abilities in exchange for stardust.
🛡️ Shield
Wraps a dropped item in a shield, protecting your tower from meteors, Jupiter's lightning and similar dangers. Worth having ready before you enter a stage full of obstacles.
🛡️ Small Shield
A smaller version of Shield. It protects half the area, but each use costs half the stardust. Good when you want to save stardust. It cannot be used together with Shield, so switch between them to suit the situation.
🧲 Gravity
Gives your items a pull toward each other. Even awkwardly shaped pieces get drawn in and settle together, making the tower far less likely to come apart. A strong ally once stacking gets difficult.
🧴 Glue
Sticks items together and holds them in place when they touch. It does not pull items in the way Gravity does, but it costs less stardust. It cannot be used together with Gravity.
💣 Bomb
Drops a bomb where you tap and destroys one item. Use it to remove an item that is throwing your tower off balance.
Abilities and Stardust Costs
| Ability | Stardust to learn | Stardust per use |
|---|---|---|
| Shield | 300 | 100 |
| Small Shield | 150 | 50 |
| Gravity | 500 | 250 |
| Glue | 300 | 100 |
| Bomb | 500 | 250 |
Note: These numbers may change as the game is rebalanced.
Save Feature
You can save at any time from the menu screen. There are three save slots. Slot 1 is available from the start; slots 2 and 3 are unlocked with stardust. Stop whenever you like and load to continue the journey.
Note: save data is stored inside the browser you play in. Switching device or browser means the data does not carry over.
Planet-by-planet tips
Every planet tries to stop Bibi and Nono from going further. As for why — you may start to guess as you climb.
Here are the tips for each planet.
- 🔴 Mars — Riding Out the Iron Sandstorm
- 🪨 Asteroid Belt — Dodging the Rocks
- 🟠 Jupiter — Lightning and Gravity Surges
- 🪐 Saturn — Crossing the Icy Rings
- 🔵 Uranus — Storms and Diamond Rain
- 💙 Neptune — The Dark Spot and the Geysers
Stage-by-Stage Tips
As you approach each planet, its unique environment and gimmicks kick in. Here are tips for the early-to-mid game.
🌙 Moon (380,000 km)
Your first destination. Use this stretch to get comfortable with catching and stacking. On arrival, Nono shares a space fact and Bibi leaves a short diary entry.
🔴 Mars (230 million km)
As you near the red planet, iron-sand storms blow periodically. When you see a storm coming, stop stacking and let your tower stabilize. A Shield makes this area much easier.
🪨 Asteroid Belt (400 million km)
Rocks fly in from both sides and collide with your tower. Watch the trajectory and avoid building up at the impact height. A wide, stable base survives better than a tall, narrow tower.
🟠 Jupiter (630 million km)
Near the giant gas planet, lightning and gravity surges strike. The Shield also protects your tower from lightning.
🪐 Saturn (1.28 billion km)
The beautiful rings are made of countless ice fragments. Tower behavior changes in the icy zone. From here—Uranus, Neptune, and even farther—discover what awaits you yourself.
